PEER REVIEW PROCESS

IJEBAR implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure the scientific quality and integrity of all published manuscripts.

1. Preliminary Assessment
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team to verify alignment with the journal’s scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and adherence to ethical and originality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors or declined at this stage.

2. Double-Blind Review
Manuscripts that pass the preliminary assessment are forwarded to a minimum of two independent reviewers. During the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field.

3. Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:

  • Accept

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Major revision required

  • Reject

Reviewer comments and suggestions are communicated to authors through the OJS system.

4. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with reviewer feedback within the specified timeframe. Revised submissions must be accompanied by a detailed response-to-reviewers document outlining the changes made.

5. Final Decision
The editorial team conducts a final evaluation of the revised manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the work.

6. Production Stage
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, proofreading, and layout preparation. Authors review the final proofs prior to publication.

7. Publication
Once the production process is complete, the manuscript is published in the corresponding issue of IJEBAR and made available through open access.
