About the Journal

International Journal of Economics, Business, and Accounting Research (IJEBAR) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal that publishes original and high-quality research in the disciplines of economics, business, and accounting. IJEBAR is published by LPPM Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia, Surakarta.

Peer Review Process

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) and follow the IJEBAR Author Guidelines.

  2. References should follow the APA 6th edition style and are recommended to be managed using Mendeley or EndNote®.

  3. Every submitted manuscript is reviewed by two independent peer reviewers.

  4. The review process applies a double-blind system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

  5. The main review considerations include novelty, objectivity, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, clarity of conclusions, and use of updated references.

Review Guidelines

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts based on core components of scientific publication. Key review criteria include:

  1. Title – Must be clear, precise, and representative of the study.

  2. Abstract – Should summarize purpose, methods, results, and key conclusions.

  3. Reference Review – Citations must appropriately acknowledge prior work, demonstrate novelty, and avoid excessive referencing.

  4. Purpose – Research objectives must be well-stated and connected to the hypothesis.

  5. Method – Methods should be detailed enough for replication, including tools, materials, platforms, or frameworks.

  6. Clarity – Writing must be concise, effective, and easy to understand.

  7. Organization – Manuscript must be logically structured.

  8. Duplication – Manuscript should avoid repeating previously published work.

  9. Calculation – Reviewers may verify the accuracy of key calculations.

  10. Tables & Figures Linkage – All visuals must be referenced and aligned with the text.

  11. Titles of Tables & Figures – Titles should be specific and informative.

  12. Graphics Quality – Visual data must be accurate and well-presented.

  13. Conclusion – Must clearly answer research questions and be supported by data.

  14. Distinction Between Fact and Assumption – Authors must differentiate clearly.

  15. References – Minimum of 10 references; at least 60% must be primary sources from the last 10 years.

Delivering Review Results

Reviewers may upload comments via the OJS review form or upload annotated files. Standard review time is 4 weeks, and extensions may be requested.

Open Access Policy

IJEBAR provides immediate open access to all published content based on the principle that freely available research promotes a broader global exchange of knowledge. All articles can be accessed, read, and downloaded without restrictions.

Publication Frequency

IJEBAR is published four times a year: March, June, September, and December.
